PHOTOGRAPHY BY GEORGE MAGUIRE
George turned a hobby into a profession when he set up The Barn Studio in 2002. From his base in the beautiful surroundings of West Cork, he was able to offer studio portraits, alongside freelance press photography for The Southern Star newspaper, whilst also pursuing his passion for nature and wildlife photography.
Over the years, George has built up a reputation for candidly capturing special occasions, both in his studio and on location, as well as establishing a large portfolio of local and national news coverage, along with corporate, commercial and editorial photography for local businesses throughout West Cork.
